Home at last :)

Deer_friends_olive Deer_friends_bashful

Deer_friends_chocolate

Hello!

You gotta tell me....are these cards cute or what?  I'm so thankful that Julie let me run over to her house and play with her new stamps (I'll get mine on Thursday).  THANKS JULIE!!!

Are you sick of Christmas ideas or is it okay that I'm stuck on Christmas in July?   This time of year is so hard for me because there's not really a big holiday around the corner....and......the new catalog is arriving soon!  It's a terrible thing to say....but,  I have a hard time using my older stamp sets in July. (I'm sure several of you can relate :)))))

Club girls, make sure you make note of this....The Deer Friends stamp set used on these cards is a Level 2 Hostess set in the new catalog (arriving next month).  The way to get a Level 2 Hostess set is to have your event reach $300 (as long as the new idea book and catalog doesn't change).  As a extra benefit, if your event reaches the level 2 and you choose this stamp set as your Free set, I'll include the supplies to make all three cards (some of the papers will change but I'll update the Club Blog with the actual cards when I get my hands on the new designer paper).

That's it for the business stuff today....keep reading if you want to hear about my little vacation :)

Have a great day & thanks for checking in!!

Stamps:  Deer Friends (Level 2 Hostess set - 2008/2009Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog) & Polka Dot Background

Ink:  Old Olive, YoYo Yellow, Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Chocolate Chip

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Old Olive Designer Paper, Whisper White, Cutie Pie, Chocolate Chip & Real Red

Other:  Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 Circle Punches, Silver Cord, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer & Chic Stand

The Dirt.....I'm alive & well!!! and happy to report that I read 4 books and took a nap every day.  It was great....no TV, no computer.....hubby did most all the cooking.   My only complaint is...I dropped my new cell phone in the lake on the first day we were there (don't ask...I'm usually sooo protective of my electronics.....lets just say "it was an accident")  Good news though.... a miracle happened.  It still works with all it's bells & whistles.  I'm not sure how or why it's working....let's just say God knew I couldn't handle another defective phone for a year.  (FYI, I did jerk the battery out within seconds and put it in the oven for an hour and left it off for two days....my phone is a Palm Centro and I love it..even more so now that it survived a dunk in the lake & riding a wave.)

Sorry for the confusion, some of you thought I would return from my vacation sooner. I purposely didn't put the exact dates on my blog due to the fact that you never know who may be reading the content.  Not that my dogs wouldn't scare off someone but you just never know.  (We stopped taking the dogs to the lake, kids and dogs getting car sick was too much for me...you know what I mean??)

See ya tomorrow :)

p.s. don't look to closely to the Snowman Card, I used my removable adhesive and I should have changed it before I took the picture. (When I'm creating I use the removable Dotto adhesive so I can move things around and not waste alot of product.)

Bind it all Post its :)

Bind_it_all_post_it_wasabi Good afternoon!

Sorry I'm late today!!  You really don't want to hear all the details ...... I'll make it short & sweet....developed major headache late yesterday and then woke up with a sore throat & a few computer problems.  (I'm actually using Chase's computer to type these words.)

I made this project really fast...I'll tell you how it got started. I got in a new shipment of coasters, boxes & owires (for the Bind it all).  Remember the Password Books I made?  I ran out of owires and went to every store I could think of looking for them....no one had them...so I ordered online and made sure I ordered enough for that to never happen again (I went from one extreme to the other...typical Angie). Here's a picture of the inside.Bind_it_all_post_it_wasabi_open

Today will be my last post for a few days. We're headed out for a little vacation & I probably won't have access to email again until Monday.

Hope you have a Fantastic July 4th weekend & please be safe!

p.s. I know I'm forgetting to tell you something and will probably remember it later. If I do, I'll just come back and update this post.

Jersey Shore Notes

Jersey_shore_notes_3 Good morning!

Isn't the Jersey Shore notepad cute?  When I designed it I wanted to show it to everyone as fast as I could....but that was ...back when I was going to apply for the Artisan Award.

I'll be honest, I've never applied.  Each year I think this time I'll try.  But to keep my stuff hidden and not share it...I just can't do it!! The only reason I didn't show this sooner is because it was stashed away and I forgot.  I found it yesterday because I bought another file cabinet :O (Yes, it matches the one I showed you a few months ago, they finally got them in stock.)

Couple reminders for you....Today is the last day to order from the Occasions Mini Catalog and tomorrow you can start ordering the Decor Elements (if you need a brochure, let me know).  Also remember, anyone that places an $100 Stampin' Up! order with me in July gets a Free Fall & Winter Idea book & Catalog. ($100 net total, before tax & shipping.) Don't forget, if you're a club member your Idea Book & Catalog is Free.

Have a great day....thanks for stopping by!

p.s. thanks for all the Congrats yesterday....I really appreciate it!

Stamps:  Jumbo Outline Alphabet

Ink:  Black Stazon, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi

Cardstock:  Jersey Shore Designer Paper, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, White

Hawaii bound :)

It's official....I earned the trip to Hawaii!!  I'm so thankful!!!!!    I'm not the best at wording things and I'll try to get this right. I had help in so many different ways......some of you placed orders, some answered questions, some told me to check my report and see where I'm at, some listened to me toss around ideas and help me decide what to do, some of you called me and said what can I do...even my downline girls helped!  There just isn't words to express how much it means to me that you all wanted to help.  So, I'll just say......   THANK YOU!!!

Tart & Tangy's Exit :(

Tart_tangy_popsicles Good morning!!

Tomorrow is the deadline to order this Tart & Tangy stamp set and I thought I would show you some really fun cards to tempt you one more time :))  All joking aside... I do love this stamp set!!  If you haven't ordered it, you have until tomorrow to get your order in before the Occasion Mini Catalog ends.

Have a great Sunday!

Stamps: Tart & Tangy & Family Phrases

Ink:  Black Stazon, Real Red, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi

Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie & Wild Wasabi

Other:  Scallop punch, Crystal Effects (on the strawberry), Paper Piercer, White Gel Pen, 2 Way Glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Striped Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals & Chic Stand TM

I'll be honest...I can't take a minute of credit on these cards. I saw one like this years ago...then a few months back on Patty's blog, then earlier this month at our group meeting and again the other day when Julie came over to stamp.  I'm posting them to show my wonderful customers the potential of this set (and sometimes it's fun to case a super cute card).

June 30th Update...I filmed a video on how to make these cards, click here to head over to my Stampin' Academy.

Pick a Petal Thank you

Pick_a_petal_thank_you Good morning!!

I finally found a few hours to stamp yesterday and this is what I made.  Aren't they super cute? I know...I say that all the time...but really..... these cards are so stinkin cute that I had to make 4 of them....and now I have to make more!   Couldn't you see "Happy Birthday" with it instead of "thank you"?

I used the Pick a Petal stamp set and Enjoy Every Moment (thanks Lise for letting me continue to borrow the thank you...I just can't live without it :))))

The Striped Grosgrain Ribbon goes perfectly with these cards and tonight is the deadline for my Ribbon Shares.  Click here for details!

Have a Fantastic Friday and see ya tomorrow :)

p.s. I've had several emails asking me if it's official for my trip to Hawaii.  Not yet, but it should be anytime now and I promise the moment it's official...I will post it...as I'm jumping up & down.

p.s.s. Julie I had a fantastic time yesterday...can't wait to giggle more at Convention.   And Gigi...I was thinking of you as I was making the Wasabi card...don't you love it?

Saturday, June 28th Update....I filmed a tutorial for this card and you can head on over to my Stampin' Academy to watch it.  And this card will be one of my Convention swaps :))))  I'm so excited...one month to go!
