Posy Punch Box

My project today is the Posy Punch Box and I made it with Mother's Day in mind ...as well as a end of the year teachers gift.

I used the Flirtatious Specialty Paper (retiring soon) and the Posy Punch Hostess Set. 

Many of you are ordering retiring stamps sets and this hostess set is one you can earn free when your order reaches $150 (before tax & s/h).  Just remember to go through my blog to order .... if you go through the Stampin Up! website you do not get hostess benefits.

The color I used is Wisteria Wonder and I attached the handles on the box with the Flower Brads (the Flower Brads are staying in the catalog but the Filigree Brads are retiring .... bummer).

After I stamped the flower with Wisteria Wonder ink .. I then cut it out with the Fancy Flower Punch.  I attached it to the box using a Stampin Dimensional and then added Basic Rhinestones.

When you see the Accessories list you'll notice the ink pads are retiring ...  not to worry.  All the colors are staying with the exception of the In Colors (2010-2012) ...the ink pads are getting a make over and I'm super excited!!

Final card for Stamp Kit of the Month

My card today is the final card for my April Stamp Kit of the Month. 

We used the Send me Soaring stamp set and I stamped the kite five times with Baja Breeze ink.  Then we arranged them into a flower and added a Rhinestone Brad in the center.

The greeting is from the Sweetly Said stamp set and it will be retiring at the end of May.

Scallop Envelope Box

My project today is the Scallop Envelope Box and I made it using the Scallop Envelope Die. 

I used Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Broadsheet Alphabet.  I'm really happy that this Alphabet isn't retiring.  When I was looking at the retired stamp list .... for a  minute I thought it was retiring ...but it was only the accents. 

When making this box .... you need to emboss first ... I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  And, then cut it out with the Scallop Envelope Die (you'll need four pieces).

Petite Purse

My project today is the Petite Purse and it was one of our Stamp Club projects this month. 

We used the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper with the Petite Purse die that's featured in the Summer Smooches promotion.

We used a combination of Jelly Bean Brads & Designer Printed Brads with it.

Scallop Envelope Box

My project today is the Scallop Envelope Box and I made it using the Scallop Envelope Die (you need four pieces).

This is my warm up version  ... I played it for about an hour and decided I want to go in another direction ...but I really need to check email too.  So, I'll share another one on Monday ...along with a video tutorial.

I used the Butterfly Prints stamp set that's retiring on May 31st ... with Baja Breeze ink.

The "Just for You" greeting is in the Tea Shoppe stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog that ends on April 30th. 

On a personal note:  My body has finally adjusted to the lack of caffeine and sugar ... I'm happy to be rid of the headaches but I sure miss my Coffee!!!

Bright Blossoms Scallop Envelope

My project today is the Bright Blossoms Scallop Envelope and it's the same as the Scallop Envelope Treat Holder I shared with you on April 4th. (See picture below.)

I used the Bright Blossoms stamp set in the Summer Smooches Promotion with the Tagtastic Hostess stamp set.  I used the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and the colors are Real Red and Island Indigo.

I used a Rhinestone Brad with the Red Satin Ribbon and I cut the tulip out with the 3/4 Circle Punch.

Send me Soaring Birthday Card

My project today is the Send me Soaring Birthday Card and I used the Send me Soaring stamp set with the Summer Smooches Designer Paper.  You can find that designer paper in the Summer Smooches Promotion.

This was one of my warm up cards for my Stamp Kit of the Month Club.

Bright Blossoms Birthday Card

My card today is the Bright Blossoms birthday card and I made it using the Bright Blossoms stamp set from the Summer Smooches Promotion and the Happy Birthday Greeting is from the Loved Ones stamp set that can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Don't forget the Occasions Mini Catalog ends on April 30th!!  And the Retired Stamp List will be available April 15th.

I used the Labels Collection Framelits to make this card and I love the layered look!!

Just for you Petite Purse

My project today is the Just for you Petite Purse that I made with the Petite Purse Die that's available during the Summer Smooches promotion.

Normally the Petite Purse closes ...but this time ... I cut the lid off and made it into a basket.  It's super quick and easy to make!!

I stamped the image from the Tagtastic Hostess Stamp set with Lucky Limeaid ink onto Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch.  I added a Stampin Dimensional to the back and then added it to the Lucky Limeaid Decorative Label.

I attached the handles to the outside this time ... using Mini Glue Dots.

On a personal note .... I've been battling a MAJOR headache for several days!! I think it's seasonal allergies ... but it could be from my new diet or something else....  Brooke has been sick all week too.

Messages for Moms ..... Mother's Day Card

My card today is a simple Mother's Day card that I made using the Messages for Mom stamp set along with the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.

This card measures 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 and I cut out Real Red squares with the Scallop Square Punch ... then I cut out the Designer Paper with the Postage Stamp Punch.

I opened a Rhinestone Brad and wrapped it around the White Satin Ribbon to make a bow.  I attached the bow to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

I'll be playing catch up on email today ... the only work I did over the Easter weekend was assemble Stamp Set of the Month cards (in the kitchen ...in between cooking and eating).

Two Tags Easter Treat Holder

My project today is the Two Tags Easter Treat Holder and you've seen me make these before. This time my video tutorial demonstrates how to use the Big Shot with the Two Tags Die and the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

Scallop Envelope Treat Holder

My project today is the Scallop Envelope Treat Holder and it was made using the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper ...and a Summer Smooches Fabric Designer Brad. 

You can fit a bag of Skittles or the Easter size Kit Kat candy bars ...any other treat size bag of candy.

We used the Triple Treat Flower Stamp with the Fancy Flower Punch and the 5 Petal Flower Punch & we stamped it four times using Lucky Limeaid, Island Indigo & Real Red.

To make the Scallop Envelope Treat Holder ... you will cut out two Scallop Envelopes with the Scallop Envelope Die ... trim both pieces at the bottom at 1/4".   Use Sticky Strip to attach them.  (Let me know if you'd like me to do a video).

Mixed Bunch Treat Holder

My project today is the Mixed Bunch Treat Holder and I meant to show it to you before Sale-a-bration ended ... because it's using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper.

To make this Treat Holder you need a piece of card stock that measures 6-1/2 x 2-1/2 and score at 2-1/2 and 4.

We used the Mixed Bunch stamp set with the Blossom Punch and the colors are Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Pool Party.

I've been working on our taxes for the past few days ... and I'm sooooo happy they're officially in the hands of the lady that does our taxes!!  The last minute gathering has left me exhausted.... next year I'm going to be prepared early... of course I say that every year!!!

My Chic n Scratch April 2012 Thank You Card

My card today is My Chic n Scratch April Thank You Card and I LOVE IT!!!!  I know ..I say that every month ...but I truly mean it :)

It's so crisp and clean and I'm pretty sure when you get it you'll agree with me.

I used the Bright Blossoms Stamp set that's in the Summer Smooches Suite.  It's available April 1st - April 30th and then it will reappear in the main Idea Book & Catalog.

The greeting is from the Friendly Phrases stamp set ...and you could use the "Thank You" from the Everyday Wishes stamp set as well.

I used the Note Cards that we sell on page 182 and you get the envelopes with the Note cards.  They use a regular postage stamp too!

Stampin Up Demonstrator

Kindness Matters

My card today is using two items from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  I used the Kindness Matters stamp set with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper. 

I LOVE this designer paper and although it won't be available after tomorrow ...I'm going to continue to use it.  This pack of paper is seriously my most favorite ever!!! 

Here's another picture ...not using the light box.

I cut out the 1" squares with the 1" Square Punch and then layered them onto the Soft Suede card stock that I cut out with the Postage Stamp Punch.

Brooke left me a note on the coffee pot this morning that she needed two thank you cards .....  so this is what I came up with (she'd probably prefer something more edgy...LOL ).
